PURPOSE:To obtain an optical pickup device which can obtain a super resolution spot and can simultaneously perform adjusting deviation and detecting a position of a moving optical system. CONSTITUTION:An optical pickup device is provided with a polarizing prism 62 which polarizes parallel light flux emitted from a fixed optical system, and a moving optical system 69 in which an object lens 60 irradiating an information recording medium 2 with the condensed light which is polarized by the polarizing prism 62 and condensed, is arranged. Also this device is provided with a mirror 61 in parallel light flux of the moving optical system 69, a means 65 which separates reflected light of the mirror 61, a means 67 which guides separated light flux of one side on the information recording medium 2, an element 70 which receives reflected light which is formed so that light flux guided on the information recording medium 2 by the means 67 is reflected, a means 64 which guides the other light flux separated by the separating means 65 to an encoder 68 provided at an adjacent side or the lower part of the moving optical system, and an element 63 which receives reflected light flux which is formed so that light flux guided by the means 64 is reflected on the encoder 68. |
