<p>PURPOSE:To improve numerical aperture by preventing the numerical aperture from being lowered and preventing display characteristics from getting worse because of providing display electrodes away from a gate line and a drain line. CONSTITUTION:A layer insulation film 24 is provided on the entire surface of a substrate 10 including a drain electrode and a source electrode, and a display electrode 14 is overlapped with the drain line. As a result, a light shield film for covering gaps among the drain line, gate line and display electrode is not required, and a display area is specified on the side of the gate line and the drain line. On the other hand, the decrease of an auxiliary capacity value caused by interposing the layer insulation film 24 is resolved by removing the layer insulation film or providing an auxiliary capacity electrode on a gate insulation film.</p> |
