PURPOSE:To provide a scanner motor which can make locking and unlocking safely with no use of any tool and can be embodied in a small structure. CONSTITUTION:A polygonal mirror 1 is rotatably supported by the bearing part 2 of a scanner motor 3, wherein the arrangement includes a locking member 8, which is arranged movably in the vertical direction between the pressing position and non-pressing position coaxially with the bearing part 2, and a lock member actuating means which holds the locking member 8 and is supported rotatably between the free position and locking position around the axis of the bearing part 2. The lock member actuating means is rotated from the free to the locking position to bring the locking member 8 from the non- pressing position into the pressing position so that the locking of the bearing part 2 is generated. |
