PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument which enables an elaborat ed musical performance by automatically re-outputting an optional musical sound, played once, at optional player's timing. CONSTITUTION:With a lower keyboard 3 pressed, musical sound information corresponding to its keying information is saved and then this musical sound is outputted from a speaker (steps 20, 28, and 30). When a retrigger event is generated by pressing a foot keyboard 5, on the other hand, the event is saved as sequence event data and then the musical sound stored in the step 28 is re-outputted (steps 24, and 34-48). Then the sequence event data are read out by a rhythm pattern performance routine which is executed by timer interruption at constant intervals of time and detected as sequence events in the steps 24 and 34, and the chords stored in the step 28 are automatically re-sounded. Namely, the chords are automatically played according to the rhythm of the sequence event data without operating the foot keyboard 5. |
