PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of surface flaw on a metal by making the pressure in a plating chamber lower than the pressure in a heat treatment furnace and preventing the flow-out of floating-up fine particles in the plating chamber into the heat treatment furnace. CONSTITUTION:In the molten metal spraying and plating method by spraying the pulvelized molten metal to the band metal 2 in the plating chamber 3 succeeding to the heat treatment furnace 1, the pressure in the plating chamber 3 is made to lower than the pressure in the heat treatment furnace 1 to prevent the flow-out of the metal fine particles floated up in the plating chamber 3 into the heat treatment furnace 1. By this method, the flow-out of the metal fine particles floated up in the plating chamber at the time of executing the spraying and plating is eliminated and in this result, the metal fine particles are not deposited onto a roll and the generation of the flaw is prevented and the band metal having beautiful surface and high quality can be obtd. |
