<p>PURPOSE: To simplify the structure so as to make the manufacture easier and reduce the noise during operation to the lowest possible extent by mounting a valve spring on a valve reed. CONSTITUTION: A valve reed 30 is air-tightly contacted with a valve seat 20 to close an outlet 22 during the intake stroke of a compressor. At that time, a gas coolant flows into a cylinder bore through an inlet 24. Then, when the pressure of the compressed gas coolant is greater than the pressure of a discharge chamber and the pressing force of a valve spring 31 during the discharge stroke of the compressor, a circular portion 33 of the valve reed 30 is retreated from the top of the valve seat 23 by the discharge pressure of the compressed gas coolant to open the outlet 22. When the compressor proceeds from the compression stroke to the intake stroke, the circular portion 33 bent upward of the valve reed 30 is returned to the position on the valve seat 23 by the pressing force of a bent section of the valve spring 31.</p> |
