PURPOSE:To form a shaft with a press through omission of any machining process make it lighter in weight by forming a shaft part of a movable part measuring an air flow rate with a hollow thin wall sahft, in a device which controls the air flow rate in an air passage bypassing a throttle valve of an internal combustion engine with an electriccal means of inputting. CONSTITUTION:When a control valve seat 11 separates from a control valve 8, pressure in a diaphragm chamber 18 lying between a solenoid 14 and a diaphragm 4 goes down, so that a diaphragm mechanism 1 is shifted to the left. On the other hand, if the control valve seat 11 closes the control valve 8, atmospheric pressure is inducted out of a leak orifice 7, and since pressure in the diaphragm chamber 18 goes up, differential pressure in front and in the rear of the diaphragm 4 comes to nothing, so the diaphragm mechanism 1 is shifted to the right by dint of the longitudinal differential pressure of a valve 2. In the aforesaid device, a shaft 3 of the control valve 8 is formed with a hollow thin wall shaft. In breif, a plate is formed with a press, and this shaft 3 is formed into a pipe shape. With this constitution, any machining process for this shaft 3 is omitted, while the weight reduction is thus accomplished. |
