PURPOSE:To enable even the electronic musical instrument to realize feeling expression by the same playing method with an acoustic musical instrument by converting a shock applied to a material body into an electric signal, extracting a resonating component by a resonance circuit from the shock wave signal, and utilizing it as a musical sound signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal source 10 consists the material body (pad) 1 capable of vibration and a vibration detection sensor (sensor) 2. Namely, the optional frequency component included in the shock wave signal outputted from the sensor 2 is extracted to obtain a target percussion instrument sound. Then the shock wave signal 3 outputted from the sensor 2 is supplied to the resonance circuit 15. The resonance circuit 15 consists of a variable delay circuit 16, a variable gain amplifier 17 which amplifies a signal delayed by this variable delay circuit 16, and an adding circuit 18 which adds the signal amplified by the variable gain amplifier 17 to the signal of the original path. Consequently, a sound that a player intends can be generated. |
