PURPOSE:To obtain the electronic musical instrument which can be controlled in real time by a few additional circuits by directly reading and writing modulation control signals that an envelope generating device generates. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 reads out a control program stored in a program memory part of a ROM 2 in order through an address bus 5 and a data bus 6 and executes it to control respective parts of this electronic musical instrument. A tone generator (T.G.) 4 contains plural oscillators for generating a musical sound under the control of the CPU 1 and generates the musical sound on a time-division basis. For a specific number of oscillators, less subordinate oscillators are set and their subordinate oscillator outputs are primarily stored, and selected and used at need. Further, the modulation control signal that an envelope generator as a modulation control means generates can directly be read and written. |
