PURPOSE:To provide a freezer in which the cooling air to food disposed on vertically arranged racks is made to flow smoothly and distributed evenly. CONSTITUTION:A freezer to be provided is equipped with a cooling device 4 provided in the middle at one side wall inside the chamber 3 in an insulating casing 1, with fans 5 provided one above and the other under the cooling device 4, with an inlet 6 open to the cooling device 4, with outlets 7 which the fans 5 respectively faces, with a cooling chamber 9 formed by a partition 8, in which the outlets 7 and the inlet 6 are open, provided along the side wall referred to above, and with air-directing plates 16 provided one above and the other under the inlet 6. |
