摘要 The procedure for controlling vehicle braking includes a circuit (11) deriving intermediate braking pressure signals from the signals received from sensors (13,16,17-20). For each wheel a signal (Sxi) is calculated, representing the real rate of sliding. This is compared with a reference sliding signal (Sxci) to deliver a difference signal (E). After processing this signal is used to control the signals applied to brake actuators, so that the real sliding rate can be made equal to the reference sliding rate. The signals are sampled, and digitally filtered, with the aid of a dynamic model taking account of the characteristics of each wheel. ADVANTAGE - Maximises braking, whilst maintaining stability of vehicle.
