The vibrator has a rotating assembly (1), containing a mass (2) displaceable linearly by a fluid system (3). The assembly is rotated around a central axis (X-X), with two other perpendicular axes (P-P,P'-P'). The assembly is in two halves, (A,A'; B,B'), with the movable mass placed in equilibrium. The fluid system may displace a piston, being the mass, in a cylinder. The assembly comprises two identical closed cylinders (14A,B), side by side, each containing an identical mass (2,2A). One piston (2A) is fixed, the other displaceable in its cylinder (14B). USE/ADVANTAGE - Mechanical fruit harvesting, by tree shaking. At equilibrium, avoids shaking, but easily put to vibratory work.
