PURPOSE:To draw operator's attention in proper timing by detecting a trouble in early stages and to minimize the occurrence of miscopying while a non-skip mode having high productivity is adopted. CONSTITUTION:An original housing means 1 successively ejecting a housed single-sided originals D every original D, copying means 2 and 3 copying the original D supplied from the housing means 1 on both surfaces of a supplied paper S and ejecting it, a tray 5 housing the paper S which is supplied from the copying means 2 and 3 and whose one surface is copied and a detection means 8 which is provided on the tray 5 and which detects the existence of the paper on the tray 5 in one cycle that copying is executed once as for the original D are provided. Then, the actuation of the copying means is controlled so as to stop the copying of the copying means 2 and 3 in the case that the existence of the paper S on the tray 5 is detected by the detection means 8 when one cycle is finished or in the case that the existence of the paper S on the tray 5 is not detected by the detection means 8 before the finish of one cycle. |
