PURPOSE:To simplify circuit configuration and to reduce price by setting subordinate oscillators which are less than a specific number of oscillator, primarily storing the outputs of the subordinate oscillators, and selecting and using them as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 reads a control program out of a ROM 2 in order through an address bus 5 and a data bus 6 and executes it to control respective parts of this electronic musical instrument. A tone generator(T.G.) 4 contains plural oscillators for generating a musical sound under the control of the CPU 1 and generates the musical sound on a time-division basis. For those oscillators which are as many as timbres, an irreducible necessary number of subordinate oscillators are provided and the outputs of the subordinate oscillators are primarily stored, selectively taken out by subordinate oscillator selective storage means attached to the oscillators, and modulated. |
