<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the yield by impressing a voltage between base boards prior to encapsulation of liquid crystal, and conducting the voltage impression in the vacuum pressurized condition. CONSTITUTION:Vacuum pressurization in the process after affixing base boards together consists of applying a uniform load on an array board 6 and a counter- board 7 and forming uniformly a gap thickness of a liquid crystal panel, which is inserted in a vacuum pressurization sack 14, completed with vacuum packaging. An electric conduction part 15 is formed in that portion of the sack 14 which contacts an array board side source electrode 9 and an array board side counter-takeout terminal 8. and it is possible to impress easily a voltage externally in the vacuum pressurized condition. It is also possible to keep a uniform gap thickness in the condition narrower than the gap thickness at completion by the vacuum pressurization, and even in the case conductive foreign matters 13 having dispersion exist, it is possible to generate the contact with the counter-electrode 10 and array side source electrode 9 with a certain margin reserved, and thus a sure heeling can be executed.</p> |
