<p>PURPOSE:To simulate the movement of paper on a computer system and to improve the operability of a stylus by performing scroll only for a distance from a position where an electronic pen is separated from the stylus to the position where it is brought into contact again. CONSTITUTION:This method is composed of a controller 1 and an input/display device 2 and the controller 1 is composed of a scroll vector calculation means 4 and a scroll means 5. The input/display device 2 is composed of a display device such as a CRT or the like and the electronic pen 3 and constitutes the stylus. Then, from the terminating position TL of a graphic plotted while the electronic pen 3 is in the contact with the stylus to the position where the electronic pen 3 is separated is stored and the screen on the stylus is moved and controlled only for a vector quantity M from the position TL to the position TC where the electronic pen 3 is brought into contact with the stylus again. Thus, since the terminating position of a line is moved to a contact position when the electronic pen 3 is brought into contact again, an operator can continuously plot the line from the position where plotting is easy and the operability can be improved.</p> |
