<p>PURPOSE:To apply analystic combustion to any combustible component staying in exhaust gas so as to reduce the amount of soot stuck on a heat exchanger by arranging the heat exchanger for recovering heat in exhaust gas in the exhaust gas discharging passage in a diesel engine, and also arranging a catalyst combustion device on the upstream side of thereof. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 2 is arranged in an exhaust gas discharging passage in a diesel engine so as to recover heat in exhaust gas. A catalyst combustion device 3 is arranged in the exhaust gas discharging passage 1 in the upstream side of the heat exchange 2 so as to catalyst-burn combustible component in exhaust gas utilizing the temperature of exhaust gas. It is, thus possible to reduce the amount of soot stuck on the heat exchanger 2 so as to prevent reduction of heat exchange efficiency, and also improve the safety and operability respectively.</p> |
