<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an exhaust particulate removing device for an internal combustion engine in which combustion gas is fed back to an intake system at the regeneration time of a filter, and the regeneration of the filter is satisfactorily performed irrespective of operation conditions of the engine. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust particulate removing device for an internal combustion engine, particulates in the exhaust gas are captured by means of filters 5A, 5B arranged on an exhaust pipe 2 of an engine 1, secondary air is supplied to the filters 5A, 5B from an air pump 9 at a specified time for regenerating each of the filters, and regeneration combustion gas is flowed into an intake manifold 1A. An intake air pressure inside the intake manifold 1A is detected through an engine speed Ne, or an accelerator opening theta. When the detected intake air pressure is lower than a specified value, a valve V9 is closed, while a valve V4 is opened for releasing the regeneration combustion gas to the atmosphere.</p> |
