<p>PURPOSE: To provide an improved optical mechanical mouse with which a ball cage and the other element can be automatically assembled. CONSTITUTION: The electronic mouse has an upper housing, lower housing fitted around a logic, ball and ball cage, this ball cage is formed integrally with the lower housing or fitted to the lower housing, and a recessed part is provided for receiving the ball. At the lower housing, two extended parts are integrally formed at least for receiving the rotary parts of shaft encoders 140 and 150, the respective shaft encoders 140 and 150 are clipped at the prescribed positions of the ball cage, the ball is sandwiched between the ball cage and the lower housing, and the state of touching the shaft encoders 140 and 150 with the ball is maintained. Besides, photoelectric detection is performed through the slot disks of the shaft encoders 140 and 150.</p> |
