PURPOSE:To obtain a grease capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of stick slip to cause an unpleasant operation touch and an abnormal sound as well as having excellent low-temperature characteristics and durability. CONSTITUTION:A grease comprises (i) 100 pts.wt. mixed base oil obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. linear hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil (8-35cSt/40 deg.C) containing >=70wt.% linear hydrocarbon synthetic oil with 5-55wt.% alpha-olefin oligomer and/or alpha-olefin copolymer (37-12,000cSt/100 deg.C) and 3-30wt.% acid- modified alpha-olefin ethylene cooligomer (360-20,000cSt/40 deg.C), (ii) 1-20 pts.wt. higher fatty acid lithium salt and (iii) 0.5-8 pts.wt. lipophilic synthetic fluorine mica treated with a quaternary amino group-containing organic compound. |
