PURPOSE:To accurately represent soft pedal effects of a grand piano by providing a sound volume control circuit which controls the sound volume of a resonance sound signal according to the output data of a soft pedal detection part. CONSTITUTION:A resonance sound waveform storage part 110 and a direct sound waveform storage part 111 output data from specified addresses to a sequential resonance envelope control part 112 and a direction sound envelope control circuit 113. The resonance sound envelope control part 112 and direct sound envelope control part 113 generate an envelope waveform according to keying information from a key board detection part 102 and a damper pedal depth value from a damper pedal detection part 107 and add it to a resonance sound and a direct sound respectively. Then a sound volume control part 114 controls the sound volume of the resonance sound signal corresponding to the keying information and keying frequency information from the keyboard detection part 102, a soft pedal depth value from a soft pedal detection part 105, and the damper pedal depth value from the damper pedal detection part 107. |
