PURPOSE:To provide a recovered matter treating device for preventing toner clogging in a duct caused by a blocking phenomenon which is generated near the inlet of a toner recovering bottle. CONSTITUTION:As to a recovered matter treating device for recovering remaining toner on a photosensitive body which is cleaned by a cleaning device after transfer is finished into the toner recovering bottle through the duct 3, the device is provided with movable bodies 6a and 6b which can be slidingly moved along long slits 5a and 5b formed on the wall surface of the end part of the duct 3 on the toner recovering bottle side in the length direction of the duct 3, and a contact friction body 8 held by the movable bodies 6a and 6b in contact with the inner peripheral wall surface of the duct 3, and also the device is provided with a contact friction body driving means formed of shape memory alloys 11a and 11b and directly, or indirectly connected with a heating means 17 and also connected with the movable bodies 6a and 6b and for moving the contact friction body 8 held by the movable bodies 6a and 6b along the slits 5a and 5b. |
