The free-rolling mechanism uses at least two sets of rollers, in rolling contact with one another between two relatively displaced components. The roller diameters are selected so that the adjacent opposing rollers do not contact one another. Pref., the rollers are enclosed by a surrounding element, ensuring utilisation of the roller physical characteristics. USE - For roller bearing, differential drive, or DC, AC or temp. difference motor/generator.
