A karate kick-board target member (A) including an elongated sheet member (9), sufficiently rigid to maintain linear shape against gravity when supported uprightly, laterally or horizontally, having sufficient flexibility and resiliency to be resiliently bendable and thereby resistant to breaking responsive to major force struck thereagainst. The sheet member (9) is secured to a rigid support member (16) and a pair of suction cups (32a, 32b) include axially extending necks (24a, 24b) which engage the support member (16) at spaced positions. The cups (32a, 32b) are shaped to engage a surface at any of a plurality of positions. The target member (A) flexes, in response to blows on the sheet member (9), at the sheet member (9), the rigid support member (16) and the necks (24a, 24b) of the suction cups (32a, 32b). |
