METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING AN AEROSOL FROM A SUBSTANCE IN POWDER FORM

Proposed is a method of producing an aerosol from a substance in the form of a powder (1), particularly for inhalation purposes. The method calls for an underpressure to be produced in a turbulent-action mixing chamber (2) and gas subsequently to be allowed to flow into the chamber (2) in such a way that the powder (1) in the chamber (2) is mixed by turbulent action and an aerosol produced. Immediately after this, aerosol is discharged from the chamber (2) containing it.
