CARCASS DEBONING

摘要

Apparatus for deboning carcasses comprises an overhead rail carrying carcass transport hooks and a drop arm which is pivotally mounted to a bracket. A support hook is connected by a link chain to the drop arm and a pneumatic ram pushes the arm downwardly. A transport hook engaging finger is operated by a double acting pneumatic ram to move a transport hook. The support hook is attached to part of the carcass suspended on the transport hook and the drop arm is forced down by the ram to apply a separating force as a skeletal part is removed from the carcass.
