Two profiled metal sections (2,3) are connected together at a distance by an insulating web (8) having first and second boundary walls (12,13) of reduced thickness (D1,D2) with stabilising webs (14) in between. The first wall can be thicker than the second wall. Where the two metal profiled sections and two insulating webs form an inner chamber (11), the first part of the web forms the outer part with an outer boundary wall and the second part of the web forms the inner part with an inner boundary wall. This second inner part can be made of white plastics. The outer and inner parts can be extruded and connected together to form the multi-chamber hollow profiled section.
