Flexible printing plate clamped to forme cylinder - is removed using auxiliary clamping system and small rollers to bend plate backwards

The equipment automatically removes flexible printing plates from a forme cylinder (8) on a printing machine. The forme cylinder has clamping device (9.1) for the leading edge of the printing plate and also (9.2) for the trailing edge of the printing plate. An offset cylinder (6) transfers the print to a printing cylinder (1.3.2). Equipment (10.1,10.2,10.3) is provided to bend back the printing plate. There is an assistant clamp (7) on the offset cylinder (6) to remove the flexible printing plate from the printing roller and two small rollers (10.1) may be pressed against the offset roller by an actuator cylinder (10,3) and a lever (10.2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple removal of printing plate from forme cylinder.
