An angular velocity detector comprises a quartz crystal having driving electrodes and electrodes for detecting an electric field occurring in the quartz crystal due to a Corioli's force when the quartz crystal is rotated; an oscillator circuit including an inverting amplifier connected between the driving electrodes; a differential amplifier circuit connected at its input terminals with the detecting electrodes; a detector circuit that receives the output from the differential amplifier circuit and detects the output from the oscillator circuit; and an output amplifier circuit that receives the output from the detector circuit.
