When filming fluorescent objects (OB) with a TV camera, the problem is encountered that, in addition to the fluorescent radiation, the fluorescence-stimulating UV radiation is picked up, and the resulting picture is inaccurate. In order to avoid this difficulty, the invention calls for a polarizing filter (PF) to be located between the UV source (LQ) and the object (OB), and for an analysis filter (AF) to be located between the object (OB) and the camera (KA), at such an angle that the UV radiation reflected from the object (OB) is cut off. The invention is intended for use in the image analysis of fluorescent objects.
