Variable take-off drive for agricultural tractor - uses electronic control device regulating take off shaft rotation dependent on stored characteristic

The tractor take-off drive uses a take-off shaft with a variable rotation rate, monitored via a sensor (2), coupled to an electronic control device (1) onboard the tractor. The control device controls the rotation of the take-off shaft according to a given characteristic, dependant on at least one parameter of the tractor attachment. Pref., the latter characteristic is stored in a memory (1.2) of the electronic control device and allows current run-up of the tractor attachment, the characteristic pref. being modified by signals provided by further sensors. ADVANTAGE - Optimum operation of different tractor attachments.
