PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of an air-conditioning machine, to be embedded into a ceiling, horizontally, by a method wherein an assisting device for setting, which is set at the opening of the ceiling, is provided with an indicating part, indicating the setting position of the main body of the air-conditioning machine to a hanging device. CONSTITUTION:A paper pattern 50, used upon setting an air-conditioning machine, is provided with one set of cross cut near the center of a first rim 51 and two sets of the same at a second rim 53. Upon setting the air- conditioning machine, nuts 54, setting boards 49 and the nuts 55 are fitted to two pieces of hanging bolts 48, hung from a ceiling, sequentially, then, the paper pattern 50 is inserted into the opening 47 of the ceiling and the setting boards 49 are positioned so as to position the nuts 55 at spaces beside the cross cuts. Thereafter, the paper pattern 50 is removed and the setting boards are pinched by the nuts 54, 55 to determine the relative position between the ceiling 58. Accordingly, the setting position of the machine may be indicated to the hanging bolts 48 behind the ceiling and the setting of the main body of the air-conditioning machine horizontally may be facilitated. |
