PURPOSE:To accurately display corresponding relationship between the quantity of the remainder of ink and the exhausting of ink, by detecting the exhausting of ink wherein an electrostriction vibrator is utilized. CONSTITUTION:When printing pulses A are applied to an input end of a printing energizing circuit 8, the output becomes to printing voltage B, an electrostriction vibrator 1 contracts in response to voltage pulses in the W pulse height, and ink is injected from a nozzle 2. Ink exists in a cylinder 3 and the electrostriction vibrator 1 during that time. When the supply of ink runs short and a break of ink is produced between a pin electrode 7 and an electrode 1a, the voltage pulses of E applied to the electrode 1a are not propagated to the pin electrode 7. Thus, the voltage C of resistance R7 becomes zero in an electric circuit 9. An ink exhausting display device 11 is energized, and displays the exhausting of ink. |
