A case, which is used especially for accommodating items of jewellery, is composed of two strips (1) and (2) which can be punched out of a rigid material. The two strips (1) and (2) consist essentially of a rectangular central part (3) and (12) respectively. Arranged on each central part (3), (12) in each case on two mutually opposite sides is a side wall (4, 8, 13, 14) which can be folded over a first fold (5, 9, 15, 16). Each side wall (4, 8, 13, 14) is provided with a flap (7, 10, 17, 18) which can be folded over a further fold (6, 11, 19, 20) aligned parallel to the first fold (5, 9, 15, 16). The two strips (1, 2) are placed crosswise one on the other and connected to one another, such that the two central parts (3, 12) come to rest on one another. The side walls (4, 8, 13, 14) and the flaps (7, 10, 17, 18) can be folded to form a case. <IMAGE> |
