Elevator group management diagnostic system

An elevator group control system which selects the most efficient car to respond to a hall call includes a diagnostic unit 80 which monitors the car running states and the control signal to the selected car so that operation of the system can be analyzed. The system allows actual and test performances of the system to be analyzed in the control room. The diagnostic unit 80 may include a 62 communication unit 81, a running state information collector 83, a running performance analyzer 84 and a display means 82 to display the control signal and running state data.
