<p>PURPOSE:To overcome defects in the manufacture of a midsole, wherein already expanded EVA resin is heated and pressurized, and to mold the resin into a bottom peripheral component and a midsole main component with desired openings and channels formed in the side periphery of the midsole. CONSTITUTION:A midsole comprises a midsole main component (a) made from already expanded EVA resin, a bottom peripheral component (b), a packing component (c) and a member for damping impact inside the packing component (c), and the midsole main component (a), the packing component (c) and the bottom peripheral component (b) are bonded together at their respective junction surfaces and integrated into a midsole shape in such a manner that each of the channels of the bottom peripheral component (b), each of the channels of the midsole main component (a) and each of the openings of the packing component (c) are communicated with each other. An insert is fitted into each of the channel holes of the bottom peripheral component (b) of the midsole shape, and the midsole shape with the inserts fitted into the channel holes is enclosed in the fitting recess of a female mold and is heated and pressurized for a desired time.</p> |
