A device for supporting shopping bags and the like, intended for use in the boot of a car, comprises a support structure formed from a plurality of wall members (21, 22, 23) and carrier means in the form of straps (31, 30). A carrier bag may be supported by the straps with its handles looped over protrusions provided on the upper edges of the members (21, 22, 23). Additional bags may be secured outside the wall members by using the protrusions so that several bags may be stably anchored to avoid spillage of their contents. |
