PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can provide an insulated electric wire which is graded F to H in heat resistance and has good appearance and flexibility and excellent solderability, heat resistance, and thermal shock resistance; and to obtain an insulated electric wire using the resin. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises 100 pts.wt. compound obtained by the addition reaction of a polyester resin with a diisocyanate and 0.5-10 pts.wt. polyethersulfone resin, the diisocyanate being used in such an amount that the amount of the isocyanate groups thereof is 0.05-0.5 equivalent to the hydroxyl groups of the resin. The polyester resin is one obtained by reacting polyhydric alcohols 30-80 eq.% of which is accounted for by glycerol with polybasic acids 30-70 eq.% of which is accounted for by an amide acid and having a hydroxyl value of 200-500. This composition is applied to a conductor and baked to obtain the title wire. |
