PURPOSE:To enable a check book which is bound in a specific order to be issued from one device by a method wherein a printing data consisting of an MICR character on a cover of check paper is read and a check book in which a specific number of checks and respective one sheet of a cover and a back cover are integrated is prepared therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A read part 16 provided to a carrying passage 9 on a downstream side of a dot printer 15 reads a printing data consisting of an MICR character printed on check paper. A control unit to which the read signal is inputted, when a specific number of sheets of paper are integrated in a paper integrating part 21, pinches them between a support board 21b and a movable sheet 21c, stitches its one end part with a stapler, further sticks around its one end fringe with an adhesive tape, and sends out into a taking out box 24. Thereby, the check book wherein a visually unrecognizable data is printed, can be issued. |
