PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a bathtub which can be vacuum-molded at a high efficiency and under satisfactory working environment. CONSTITUTION:A resin sheet 12a for constituting the surface layer 12 of a bathtub and a prepreg sheet 14a of thermally curable resin for constituting the rear layer of the bathtub are laminated together, and then are set in a vacuum-molding die 20 having a heating function. Further, the laminated resin sheets 12a, 14a are softened and vacuum-molded to form the laminated sheets 12a, 14a into a bathtub shape. At the same time, the molding of the prepreg sheet 14a is thermally molded using the vacuum-molding die 20 and then is cured. |
