PURPOSE:To provide the subject foam having homogeneously dispersed fine cells, resistant to cracking, and good in dimensional stability. CONSTITUTION:Using (A) a thermoplastic polyester resin with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.70-0.83 and (B) a compound selected from difluoroethane, tetrafluoroethane and dimethyl ether, as a foaming agent an extrusion expansion is conducted to produce a foam which is then quenched. |
