The invention pertains to a new type of reusable carry container specially designed for retail trade, including self-service shops. Thus, the merchandise together with the carry container is placed directly on the display shelves. No time-consuming unloading of the contents of the container is required. The fold-up carry/storage container (10) has a shorter side panel (18) attached at its lower edge with hinges (24) which enable the panel to swing 270 DEG . The side panel (18) folds under the base plate (12) where it is locked in place, thus giving the customer a large side opening for removing the contents of the container. |
