PURPOSE:To provide a slip printer capable of directly printing data containing a bar code of a patient's ID number on a label to enhance the operating efficiency in making an entry of a patient's ID number, a patient's name, a date of taking blood/urine, and the like in a blood/urine vessel and reduce occurence of an errors. CONSTITUTION:In the application to a slip printer used in a hospital and the like, keys for stop, doctor, comment, and slip are arranged on the front surface of a top cover, and a liquid crystal display is incorporated in the upper stage. A card read-out means 74 is provided. Information in a patient card, a doctor card, and a comment card are read by the means 74 and respectivey stored in appropriate storage means 76, 78, 79. In addition, a bar code printing mode assigning means 82 is provided. When a bar code printing mode is assigned, a patient's ID number in the storage means 76 is converted to a bar code by a conversion means 77. When printing is started by a printing start means 83, the ID number bar code is printed on a label together with time data and a patient's name. |
