PRODUCTION OF POLYETHYLENE FOAM

PURPOSE:To produce a polyethylene foam having excellent tandelta and transmission loss characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A polyethylene composition comprising polyethylene and a fine crosslinked polyethylene powder is used in the production of a polyethylene foam by kneading polyethylene and a blowing agent and heating the resultant mixture. The produced polyethylene foam has excellent tandelta and transmission loss characteristics and also a good appearance.
