PURPOSE:To develop a color without using ink ribbon and to simply alter colors in a channel by providing a light source for optically fixing, and at least one thermal head, and controlling them. CONSTITUTION:Three thermal heads 50, 51, 52 are sequentially provided in the transport direction, a yellow fixing lamp 53, a magenta fixing lamp 54 are provided therebetween, a yellow image is thermally recorded on a yellow thermal coloring layer by the first head 50, and the coloring layer is then optically fixed by the lamp 53. Then, a magenta image is thermally recorded on a magenta thermal coloring layer by the second head 51, and the coloring layer is then optically fixed by the lamp 54. Thus, in addition to the yellow, the magenta and the cyan, waveform data of channels can be thermally recorded with other desired color in combination therewith. The color can be simply altered in the course within the same channel. |
