PURPOSE:To provide a device to stop the opening/closing action when the servo system to open/close the door is over-loaded, and to achieve the manual opening/ closing when an occupant wishes the manual operation of the door. CONSTITUTION:When driving means 10, 20 are over-loaded when the door of a vehicle is automatically opened/closed, a door control unit 45 stops the operation of these driving means, and at the same time, forcibly stops the opening/closing operation of the door by actuating brakes 13, 23. When pressure sensors 3, 4 detect the intention of the manual opening/closing by an occupant the door control unit stops the operation of the driving means in a free condition based on the signal from these sensors. |
