PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a machined work by constraining a splashing area of spatters machined by laser beam and controlling its splashing direction. CONSTITUTION:In a laser beam machining gas nozzle 30 set to a nozzle part 6, a recessed part 30c opening to an outer peripheral surface 30b is equipped on an end face 30a of the tip part of the gas nozzle and hte spatters are made to be splashed selectively in the direction of the recessed part 30c. Further, a rotation means 40 to rotate the nozzle 30 to the work 2 is mounted on the nozzle part 6 and controlled by a controller so that the recessed part 30c turns to a prescribed direction according to the moving direction of a XY-table 30. For example, when plural holes are drilled, the direction to splash spatters is a direciton other than a direction of a preceding part to be machined and is a waste throwing direction, is taken, for example, when cutting. |
