Longitudinally Divisible Crane Boom Segment

A longitudinally divisible crane boom segment (30) includes a plurality of sections (42,44) that are easily transportable. The sections each include at least one chord member (34), and a plurality of partial lacing elements (37). Each partial lacing element (37) has a first end permanently attached to the at least one chord member (34) and a second end connectable to one or more corresponding ends of plurality of partial lacing elements (37) attached to a chord member of another section. Preferably the partial lacing elements (37) are connected by dovetail connectors (50).
