PURPOSE:To provide an ink-jet recording sheet which has favorable printing density, printing quality, moisture resistance and water resistance. CONSTITUTION:Coated layers consisting mainly of 50-80wt.%. pulverized amorphous silica of the whole solid content of coating, 10-30wt.%. ous adhesive and 2-20wt.%. cationic polymer are coated in two layers on the surface of a substrate, which is made into an ink receiving coating layer and a quantity of the coating of the foregoing ink receiving coating is 8-20g/m<2>. An ink-jet recording sheet having such excellent characteristics that a base and the ink receiving coating layer are strong, they have water resistance, an ink absorbing speed, ink absorbing capacity in printing are high, color development in color is excellent, clear and sharp image or printing are imparted and improved is provided. |
