PURPOSE:To provide a durable accessory which can be moved to any places and has both the function of a thermometer by which its color varies depending on ambient temperature and colorful fashionableness. CONSTITUTION:An accessory comprises a laminate of lyotropic cholestelic liquid crystal made from a linear homopolysaccaride derivative on a base at least one side of which is transparent. The liquid crystal provides an excellent color which varies continuously from violet to red through indigo, blue, green, yellow and orange as temperature rises. |
